Richard Grunn (creator, teaching artist)
Richard Grunn is a professional actor and teacher who has over 20 years experience teaching theatre, arts and literacy programs to diverse groups in K-12 schools in the United States and Europe. He has taught theatre, puppetry and stagecraft residencies throughout the New York City school system. He also offers a 3-D Literacy professional development program for teachers and several lecture /workshop programs that examine how the arts help with memory and encoding for the brain. He has designed and taught radio theatre programs for the visually impaired at the Lighthouse Guild and to seniors through the Bronx Council on the Arts SU-CASA program. He received a 2016 BRIO award for experimental film.
